Before introducing BreatheBuddies, take a few calm moments to explain why you’re using them.
Start together with a few easy breaths through the nose.
You can apply a strip on yourself first to show how it feels, and then try it together for the first time.
Make sure your child understands how it’s used and feels comfortable before applying the strip.
Before use
- Use BreatheBuddies only when your child is healthy and breathing comfortably through the nose.
- Do not use if your child has nasal congestion, blocked sinuses, cold symptoms, or any difficulty breathing.
- Do not use if your child feels nauseous, unwell, or may vomit.
- Use only during calm, supervised activities — such as reading, drawing, or quiet screen time — and never during sleep.
- Begin with short sessions (10–15 minutes) and increase gradually as comfort grows.
- If any irritation, discomfort, or sensitivity occurs, remove the strip immediately.
- To remove, peel slowly from one side while supporting the skin — it should come off easily and comfortably.
If any irritation or unusual reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult your doctor before continuing.
Recommended for ages 5 and up.
